Privacy notice
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This is my personal portfolio. I don’t run analytics, I don’t set cookies, there are no forms, and nothing on the site sends me your data. The rest of this page explains what that means in practice.
Who I am
I’m Havish Yadav, a student in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. I built this site and I’m responsible for it. You can reach me about anything on this page at me@havishyadav.com.
What this site does not collect
- No analytics, tracking pixels or session recording.
- No cookies.
- No advertising or social-media embeds. The LinkedIn link is a plain link, not a widget.
- No forms. Nothing you type on the site goes anywhere.
- No third-party fonts or scripts. The Kanit typeface and all the code are served from this site’s own server.
Cookies and storage
The site sets no cookies.
It does use one small item in your browser’s local storage:
| Name | What it holds | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
memoji-motion |
paused |
Remembers that you pressed the pause-motion button, so the animations stay off on your next visit | Until you clear it |
It is saved only when you press the button. It stays in your browser and is never sent to me or anyone else. Since it only exists to do what you asked for, I don’t ask for separate consent.
To remove it, press the button again, or clear “site data” or “cookies and site data” for this site in your browser settings. Private or incognito windows delete it when you close them.
If your device is set to reduce motion, the site respects that setting automatically and doesn’t need to store anything.
Server logs
The site runs on a hosting provider (Hostinger). Like almost every web server, theirs records basic technical details when a page loads: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, your browser and device type, and the page that sent you here. The hosting provider keeps these logs to run the service and keep it secure. I don’t use them to identify or profile anyone, and I don’t combine them with anything else. I may look at them if I need to fix a problem or deal with abuse.
If you email me
The “email me” links open your own email app. Nothing gets sent until you press send there.
If you do email me, I’ll have your email address, your name if it’s included, and whatever you write. I use it only to read and reply to you, and to follow up on whatever you wrote to me about. I don’t add you to a mailing list and I don’t sell or share your email. My mail provider stores it for me.
I keep emails for as long as the conversation is useful, normally no longer than two years after we last spoke, unless you ask me to delete them sooner or I have to keep them for a legal reason.
Links to other sites
The site links to my LinkedIn profile, to Coursera’s certificate verification pages, and to aravaliexports.in, my family’s business site. When you click one of those links you leave this site, and that site’s own privacy policy applies. Your browser may tell them you came from this site.
Children
This site is for recruiters, collaborators and other adults. It isn’t aimed at children. If you’re under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before you email me. If I find out I’ve received a child’s personal data without that consent, I’ll delete it.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its 2025 Rules, you can ask me to:
- tell you what personal data of yours I have and what I’ve done with it,
- correct, complete or update it,
- delete it,
- name someone to act for you if you die or can’t act yourself.
If you’re in the EU or UK, the GDPR also gives you the right to object, to restrict how I use your data, and to get a copy of it in a portable format.
Most visitors never email me, so the only data I could hold is the emails you’ve sent. I’ll honour these requests either way.
To make a request, email me@havishyadav.com from the address you wrote to me from, so I know it’s you. I’ll reply within 30 days.
If you’re not happy with how I handled it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can complain to your local data protection authority instead. I’d appreciate the chance to fix it first.
Changes
If anything on this site changes how data is handled, I’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
